Lipstick junkie: current favorites

Hello <3
i have always been the kind of woman who would take forever to put makeup on and not bother to take extra moments to put on some lip color... i used to have full face of makeup and only dab some lip balm..
but then.. i was introduced to lipsticks, lipliners and i found my new love...
i am now a declared lip junkie and here are my favs. most of these shown on the picture are current purchases but i m litteralli almost running out of some.

L to R:
Flormar: L16
NYX:565
MAC:ruby woo
Essence:soft nude

Flormar (L16): this lipstick is nude.matte and has some beige orangy undertones which i must say does look pale at times but still it has the most amazing payoff. it is from the longlasting range and let me tell you.. it is longlasting.. unfotunately it can get a bit drying so LIPBALM is key. ( it is said to be a dupe for MAC Cherish)

NYX(565): if you know me you know that i am into VERY matte lipcolors but this lipstick however made me change my mind. it has a satin finish but i still wear it a lot because of the beautiful color. it is such a nice muted berry color. i actually recommend this for those of you who like a vampy lip but aren't too daring. BUT it is not very long lasting.

MAC(ruby woo): i don't think this lipstick in particular needs any introduction. it is a very vibrant classic pinup red but that has a very very dry ( since it is a retro matte) so i apply it in dabbing motion after having already moisturized an lined my lips with essence's lipliner in femme fatale.

Essence(XXXXL matte soft nude): This gloss is the cheapest one among my  favorites but i still get the most use out of it because not only it is the kind of "your lips but better" lip color but also has a very sweet caramel scent to it. it doesn't dry completely matte but is still doesn't feel dry <3 I AM IN LOVE.

i have swatched these babies for you :) hope you'll like them.

L to R: NYX,Flormar,MAC,Essence.

Skincare:My Winter First Aid Kit

Hola Ladies (and Gents!),
we've been few months into winter season ( even though it doesn't feel like it here in Tunisia), but still, we do get to enjoy chapped lips, dry face patches and very dry skin .
At times, my lips and skin get so dry it hurts. and as some of few might know, skin is our largest organ ( yes, it is!). It is therefore a MUST to protect it and keep it hydrated.
I do not use much products but i have 3 holy grail that are my saviors during these awkward phase.
No need to say it once again i moisturize my face with garnier "creme bienfaisante"(review here).
For my lips i swear by Bioderma Lip balm. it is very lightweight, deeply moisturizing and DOES NOT leave that awkward white cast or greasy feeling on your lips. i apply it before lipstick or whenever i feel dry.
However it has a  slightly disturbing cherry smell/taste but luckily it rapidly fades away.
Moving on to the BIG FINALE ( drum roll please) ...
i use the best body butter ever by THE BODY SHOP. This product is easily absorbed into the skin layers, doesn't have a sticky feeling or what so ever and cherry on top of the cake .. they have the WIDEST body butter range from strawberries to mangos etc..
i hate fruity smells  so i got mine in Brazilian nut :D :D it smells AMAZING and leaves your skin as soft as a baby's bottom.but i would have preferred that the smell lasted longer.
Thanks for reading :*

Foundation Routine

Hey J I know it’s been a while since l last published a post but here I am today back with a new post about the latest foundation routine that I have been using for my daily makeup J
.
Well first I start by moisturizing my skin using none other than the garnier “crème bienfaisante” that I talk about here.

I than skip the primer step since I hate the clogged pores feeling and that my skin has been acting realy weird for these past few months. I have few dry  patches here and there, an oily t zone and cheeks and a LOT blemishes and scars,Which  made me switch to a medium coverage foundation.
I now use the all matt plus liquid foundation by “catrice” in the shade 20 nude beige. It is a very close match to my skin. This is the kind of matte but yet satin finish foundation. It doesn’t make me look flat or very oily throughout the day.  I apply it with my angled kabuki that I bought on amazon.com.

Moving on to concealers. I (luckily) don’t have very dark or baggy undereyes but I still need some coverage and light boost. I therefore apply my Maybelline “dream lumitouch” concealer in a reversed triangular shape and smudge it using my ring finger and a pointed brush also bought from amazon.

At last, to set it al in I use my “beautique #036” powder brush to slightly buff in my rimmel stay matte in the shade 004 sandstorm.

This routine helps me keep a healthy looking matte yet satin skin. But I have to mention that I do need some touchups every now and then since I do get oily and shiny in my t zone.

Thank you for reading :D see you soon.
